About Us
Our beginnings are quite literally an accident. We officially met in November 2001, even though we knew of each other for a few months before that. We were both BYU students and lived in the same neighborhood. After finding out that Marc was injured in a car accident by a driver running a red light, I offered to nurse him back to health by giving him rides to school. At first he declined, but then ended up changing his mind mere moments later. We discovered a refreshing chemistry between us, even before we discovered we were born on exactly the same day, just two hours apart! That was a sort of magical moment for us. We dated for another nine months, and after a short five week engagement, we were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was a very beautiful day for us, with our families.
In our almost five years of marriage we have lived in Utah, and Oregon, and currently live in Northern California. Our little valley is a piece of heaven on earth, 30 miles inland from the coast and a short drive from the tallest tree in the world, found in Montgomery Woods State Reserve. We have so many options of fun ways to spend our time - from hiking to beach camping, to water skiing and snow skiing. There isn't a chance to get bored!
Fun Things We Enjoy Doing Together
Outdoor activities: hiking, camping, taking long walks , volleyball, racquet sports
Traveling: to visit family, and exploring new places
Playing board games: Cranium, Scrabble, Hoopla
Attending performances: last year we saw James Blunt, and the Nutcracker is an annual favorite
Reading books together: currently it's The Chronicles of Narnia
